Dr Piers Arthur, MChiro DC

Piers has lived in the Sussex region for most of his life and has strong ties to the local community. He and his wife, Judith, are proud parents of two children, Daisy and Finlay. Outside of his professional life, Piers enjoys spending time with his family and taking advantage of the outdoor lifestyle that Sussex offers — whether that’s walking along the coast, exploring the South Downs, or staying active through sport and fitness.
Piers’ journey into chiropractic care began from personal experience. After struggling with persistent back pain for over six months, and finding little relief through traditional medical routes, he decided to visit a chiropractor. The results were transformative — his mobility and comfort improved dramatically, and this experience sparked a deep interest in how chiropractic care could help others regain their health and quality of life. This personal insight continues to shape his empathetic, patient-focused approach today.
Professionally, Piers practices a wide range of chiropractic techniques, allowing him to tailor his treatments to each patient’s individual needs. He combines spinal and joint adjustments with soft tissue therapies and dry needling techniques to relieve muscular tension and restore functional movement. His treatment style emphasises not only pain relief but also long-term improvements in posture, flexibility, and overall physical wellbeing.
Piers is committed to continual professional growth. He regularly attends postgraduate seminars, workshops, and training courses to stay up to date with the latest evidence-based practices and developments in chiropractic care. This dedication ensures that his patients always benefit from the most effective and current approaches available.
A graduate of one of the most respected chiropractic institutions in the world — The Anglo-European College of Chiropractic — Piers holds a qualification that reflects his high level of training and clinical expertise. He is a fully registered member of the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and adheres to their professional standards of safety, ethics, and care.
Whether helping someone recover from injury, manage chronic pain, or simply move more freely, Piers brings professionalism, compassion, and extensive clinical knowledge to every patient he treats.
